Cardo socks are designed, developed and made in Italy, in our laboratory in San Vito Romano, near Rome.
Are your yarns traceable and certified?
All yarns used in Cardo socks are traceable and comply with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, meaning they have been tested for substances that may be harmful to human health.
What is a flat toe seam, and why does it matter?
Flat linking is a finishing technique that eliminates the raised seam commonly found at the toe of industrially produced socks. The result is a smooth, flat toe that reduces friction and irritation inside the shoe.
I wear a half size, such as 42.5. Which size should I choose?
If you fall between two sizes, choose the smaller size for a closer, more fitted feel. Choose the larger size if you have wider feet, a high instep or simply prefer a softer, more relaxed fit.
Do Cardo socks slide down during the day?
Some natural settling is normal, but Cardo socks are designed to stay comfortably in place throughout the day. Their gradually compressive construction and high percentage of elastomeric fibers help maintain a secure, consistent fit over time.
Do Cardo socks pill?
Pilling is a natural effect of friction, particularly in shorter natural fibers. To keep it to a minimum, we use long-staple twisted yarns and protective finishing treatments.
How should I wash my Cardo socks to make them last?
Machine wash at max. 30°C on a delicate cycle, do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not iron.
